Tracy Lewis, Ph.D.
Tracy Lewis was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia but grew up in Los Angeles, California. She attended Pacific Life Bible College from 1988-1990. After joining the Air Force in 1990. Dr. Lewis graduated in 1994 from Southeastern University with a Bachelor’s Degree. She graduated in 1997 from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia with a Master of Divinity Degree; then in 2009, she graduated with a Ph.D. in Post-Secondary Adult Education from Capella University and has completed graduate level work in Christian School Administration at Oral Roberts University. She currently teaches as a part-time Professor for Tulsa Community College and is Principal of an Elementary and Middle School in Tulsa OK.
Dr. Lewis joined the Air Force in 1990. After leaving active duty in 1994, she moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia to join the Air National Guard and to attend Regent University. She worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the School of Divinity for 2 ½ years. Dr. Lewis was awarded the Seymour Mason scholarship during her time at Regent. She was also awarded the Community Service of the Year Award upon graduation, as well as the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities Honor. Dr. Lewis consecutively served as Youth Pastor and as a Young Life Leader in two different high schools while working on her Master’s Degree.
After graduation in 1997 from Regent University, Dr. Lewis went to work for Mercy Ministries in Nashville, Tennessee (a residential counseling home for girls, ages 13-28) as the Intake Coordinator. From 2004 to 2007 Dr. Lewis worked at St. Anne’s-Belfield Boarding School in Virginia. Dr. Lewis moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2007 to work for Tulsa Community College. Dr. Lewis extensive background with nonprofit organizations, in school administration, organization and management, and in education helped to prepare her for her current position as a Principal.
